All I could think, all that rolled through my head, any thoughts that I could've had thought about my "step-father" should be these: "Please... God, Jashin, Goddess, Allah, Buddha, anybody! No..."
The first thing I wanted to do was scream, it was a terrible idea, especially in the situation I had seemed to plant myself in. At first I had thought I was dreaming, but when I realized I wasn't, I swear I felt my heart jump up into my throat and plummet down to the bottom of my stomach. Gods I had hated that man before... But now? How can I even call him a man?! He's not even human! I can't believe that he had the nerve to touch my mother knowing
